I'm new to this site, and am very thankful for it. not surprised at all to hear so much talent!
Please, check out my music. As always, i enjoy feedback, especially when it's constructive. Helps me get better, when i hear commentary and criticism of either composition or production or anything else.
Good luck to all!!!

Hello there! I am a relatively new composer who decided to go all out and give an orchestral concert of three of my works this past June (2009). My site is www.jessicasibelman.com - I'd love to get any feedback! Thanks, and I look forward to being part of such a talented group! :)

I agree with Jan. I own many VSL current and legacy products as well as many EWQL products. EWQLSO is a shade in comparison with the quality of VSL, as the price would suggest. The live room of EWQLSO isnt the hollywood sound IMO, you are much better off with VSL and using nice settings in Altiverb to create your room.. There is also a LOT more control over how you use the sounds from VSL that EWQLSO does not offer. IMO its night and day. Every year the East West contest comes up and I keep saying I am going to make a version of one of my tunes in EastWest sounds, but meh, it just doesnt sound as good. I do LOVE the Symphonic Choirs and RA/Sylk tho, great stuff

Hi, just joined the group..

#Cortello:
I haven't got any experience with Vienna, but what Jan says sounds pretty promising.
I don't know if Vienna has the same modulation options as EWQL has. For instance, modulate from soft to vibrato in one note..
It is true that EWQL has lot of room and it's own sound, however this is the sound of Hollywood and will be useful in many purposes. But being a master of the sound like in Vienna, does sound pretty cool.. Guess it is a matter of taste and temperament ;) Maybe you can give it a try in your local music dealer?
