Hi everyone, I finally uploaded one of my pieces for Brass Band. The instrument sounds are not what I want yet but it will give you the general idea. Let me know what you think.

I love it in pieces when the trombones play with that edgy sound. (:

Why is the trombone such a lucky instrument. We get to play things to loud and proud. I love being a trombone player in a brass band.

Oh there you are now in front of a fetching bright red box?
I have to admit... As a young man I had little interest in anything but pop music. Now I enjoy any genre. BTW I play by ear so what you hear below is just me toying with a few virtual instruments on my PC.
Wallander Instruments Brass and a free cornet and euphonium sample library produced by someone on another forum I visit. Now! the real thing would be superior in every way.

Yes I can hear the influence. I am a big fan of the British bands, in particular Grimethorpe Colliery, Black Dyke, and Fodens Bands. Unfortunately, living in the US I don't have many opportunities to see them live, but when I have I am in awe. Of course growing up in the Sal Army, I have played and been influenced by the Sal Army style and am an avid follower of the International Staff Band. Fortunately they have come to the States a few time and are always exciting to see. I suppose most of my influences have been because of the sounds I have heard from these bands.
