Permalink Reply by Jeanette Blackshear on September 11, 2010 at 9:28pm Finally! I think this is a success, this piece. It didn't try to be anything other than what it was, and for that, applause from me at least.
I enjoyed it. Nothing wrong with it at all. Do you write in other genres, or is this the norm for you? It definitely sounds like you've taken this approach before.
Anyway, I like it. Can you post the words? Are there lyrics?

Permalink Reply by Jeanette Blackshear on September 12, 2010 at 6:37am Listening to some of the other stuff. It's all very adept in its use of harmony and I can almost even imagine what might be being sung in the vocals. I was curious about the words, though... the one song 'I Know the Secret' had the kind of quality I expected 'If You Believe' to have... that sort of uplifting quality to it. Obviously, if the words were written with the song, it's not a good idea to just 'make it fit' to another set of lyrics, but it was just a thought that occurred to me. Also, I don't know anything but the titles, so it could turn out to be something completely different in meaning..
What's your background in music?

NICE job--I enjoyed it very much:)
Your piece really works, and is very touching--I even listened to it a few times out of enjoyment!
Thanks
