Music Composers Unite!
Some time ago, I decided to write a piece consisting of four, independent but related fugues. I posted One in this forum some time ago (http://composersforum.ning.com/forum/topics/wind-quintet-review-cri...)
As with One, this piece was originally written for a wind quintet + trumpet, violin and cello and has been converted to use just the wind quintet (unlike One, I don't have a performance of the octet version for you).
Two maintains the jazz feel of One, but I believe the connection is a bit more distant.
Here are the score and MP3:
Two - Wind Quintet-transposed.pdf
The two pieces, along with the unwritten Three and Four are intended to be played in sequence with a short pause in between. Although the written pieces are called One and Two, their final titles and order in the performance have yet to be decided.
