Theme from the documentary film "Biserici de lemn din România"

Here is a fun track from the documentary film, "Biserici de lemn din România" or "Wooden Churches of Romania." A beautiful film that showcases these ancient wooden churches that are still standing and in use. The director wanted an extremely avant garde approach to the score, to contrast with the images in the film. Hope you enjoy!

Brian,

Very interesting, eerie, and creepyy music to go with wooden churches?  (Nice job. I enjoyed the sound.)  You have to question a directors motives when he asks for music diametrically opposite his subject material.  I would think your music more appropriate for dungeons of the dark ages.  The only light, the only hope, the only future of these people is portrayed as dark, sinister, and spooky.  What ever.

Hi Brian,

This is very well done and evocative. Congrats, and thanks for posting!

Thanks so much Gav! So glad you liked the piece. It was a lot of fun to work on.

Ha yes, it was a very interesting choice but when watching the film as a whole it really works. The director had a very specific vision, which made the project both fun and challenging. We are doing a second documentary this year on a similar subject.

Best,

Brian
