I have a sudden change in the feel of this piece and, to me at least, it sticks out. Opinions on the change at about 0:32? I think it needs improvement, but I'm unsure how that can be done. If it were going from quiet to bombastic then I'd feel more at home, but I'm not familiar with going from quite full-on to quieter (excuse my musical terms). How can I smooth the transition?

And it's unfinished, so ignore the last bit...

What I'd do is use a cymbal roll (crescendo) instead of a single strike. Preferably pretty quiet; timpani mallets would make it even better. Also the cymbal should be big / lowpitched imo.

Btw I wouldn't consider the part before 0:32 sounding "quite full" ;>

I think the change at 0:32 is great.  I was ready for a contrasting idea and introducing it suddenly at a different volume attracts my attention, keeps me wondering where you will go next.

God's Peace,

I think its ok. BUT.. maybe 8-10 seconds into the harp thing, add the galloping horsemen (violas and cellos) under it so there is some sense of continuity.
