Not that bad. Try a bit more change in dynamics and motifs (left hand). And I love the melody.

Raymond

Very nice. A simple melody, very unpretentious, rather Schubertian in feel. I like it.

Wow, Saul, how beautiful!! I love it! Could be indeed a "Lieder ohne Worte" by Mendelssohn! Do you have more of this kind? Please let us see also your score...

Gerd

Thank you Raymond, Liz and Gerd for your comments and suggestions. Glad you enjoyed this piece of music.

Gerd, Mendelssohn is one of my favorite composers of all time. I really like his Songs without Words and was inspired to compose a number of these pieces myself. They number between 5 to 7 I still have to check on my music list to see how many exactly. I will post them here one by one in time.

As for the score, This is one of my completed compositions, this is not an improvisation the last thing I need to do is to put it on paper, something that I push for a later time because of my schedule and other priorities. It is also very difficult, I did try to write couple of bars and one may think that these piano pieces are easy to write down, well they are not, they are rather challenging. I guess I will have to commit and write it down in the near future.

Thanks again for your comment on my Soundcloud account about this piece.

Best of Wishes,

P.S I see that I'm not the only Mendelssohnian on this site, that's good to know.

Oh, yes, I also love Mendelssohn to the uttermost, I devour everything from him what I can find, also the rarities and unpublished fragments ;-) ... so I also came to the 6th symphony fragment, of which i will soon present here also the second movement ...:-)

Gerd, Have you heard of Mendelssohn's Third piano concerto in E minor?

Oh, yes, and I adore it, especially the Coda of the 1st mov.! Years ago I got a score of it. I don't understand why it is not performed more often.

Its relatively unknown piece and musicians don't want to be the first ones to disappoint with an unprecedented performance.

It is perhaps one of the greatest piano concertos ever written in my opinion.

Very well composed and played Saul! I think you have a hit here!

Thanks Tim!
