Music Composers Unite!
This is a bit of fun. I like the dominant theme, flourishes and the restarts.
It seems to me to be better suited as a middle movement, scherzo and trio type rather than the first movement.
Very nice! I kept expecting the main theme to turn into the scherzo of the Pastoral Symphony... but overall it's a nice recreation of a middle Beethoven style... maybe a little better suited to a piano concerto than a sonata though.
One critique of the sound: there is considerable distortion in the forte passages. Gain too high when recording? Or some other cause?
Glad you included this, as I've been enjoying listening to your concerto, in addition to the Sonata you originally posted. Both are really great and deserve a high quality recording (there is a bit of distortion as has already been mentioned). You've really captured the feel of Beethoven's own work here, thanks for sharing this!

Ludwig is the best! ;-) I'm also unashamedly heavily influenced by him.
While the style is definitely very Beethovenian, it nevertheless carries a unique flavor that isn't Beethoven, but you (presumably). I enjoyed it. Will you be posting the 2nd mvmt?
You are quite the skilled pianist unless this is midi programming. If it is it's very convincing. I very much enjoyed this.
I did notice what sounded like some clipping on the track. The track itself seems a bit "hot" for a classical piano track.
My volume had to be well down to listen to it.
The music itself though is simply wonderful!
