Music Composers Unite!

Well, I wrote the main melodies 3-4 years ago when I lived in China, Xidan-district, Er long lu. It was early autumn or late summer. And I had a moment of inspiration in all that heat.

A few weeks ago I picked it up and changed alot of things, but that same melody is still in there on 1 or 2 occasions.

Hope you enjoy it!

(Any advice, or critique (negative, positive as long as it is constructive) is welcome!

/Per

I like this very much Per. Definitely a piece by you that's excellent as always, and with some exotic elements thrown into it. Nice music!

Hi P-E

Although interesting, I think you are orchestrating and producing this piece with the proverbial 'one hand tied behind your back'.
Re-orchestrating with the likes of these instruments would be great IMO. Even downloading the free vsti's they provide may help.

Hey Anne!

I'm very happy you liked it. :) I will throw up a nice version of Patricia tomorrow or so.. The one here is not the last one, and the one she will receive :)

Again very happy you liked it!

I have those Ray. Do you know the word "hexatonic", well thats me. At least for the time being....

(The piece is hexatonic, except for one chord and one note in a (new) melody!)

So what are you telling me here?
Rather than the music being as an impression of China, instead it's more to do with an impressionist from Europe in China.

Last time I checked 6 is half between 7(hepta, dia) and 5 (penta)... I won't say more..

I'm more of a player, than an actual impressionist of times past..

Take care Ray...
