My daughter is called Nicole as well, so I already think you are wonderful. I'm going to listen to your music...

Wow... what a talent! You're inspired by Hams Zimmer, like most young composers who want to write film music, but they like him for his epic music. You have the ability to write all sorts of music, so don't fall into the epic crap trap, dear.

What a strange name for someone joining a composers forum......Royalty Free

Perhaps you should join film and game producers sites. They may pay.

It's not watermarked so one can just rip it, there are countless ways of doing it.

Of course it may be implied that the bought version is higher quality than the SoundCloud upload, but you don't say that anywhere. Nothing to discourage people from getting clever.

Yes the SoundCloud version is slightly distorted to protect it. Since I am looking for feedback I assume they would prefer to hear it without a watermark. :)

Thanks! Yes Hans Zimmer is one of my influences.

Without wishing to be insulting, your earlier orchestral pieces like Alien Invasion and Hideout sound significantly better. This piece sounds like it was composed much earlier or you changed your sample library and production process in the last few months. This piece sounds dry and lifeless to me, the earlier ones - while not my style as none of these are - sound more natural. You don't need to make it as loud as possible, either, you lose some natural dynamics. I would go back to whatever you were doing and carry on with it, but that's just me.

Nicole, I'm hearing a lot of potential. Lots of room to expand and continue

into a whole movie score.  I'm not so familiar with Zimmer. My first impression

was music for a Tim Burton movie.    all in all, I enjoyed it . Well done

Thank you!

Oh yes I maximised (distorted it) the Soundcloud version to protect it. I think as this song isn't meant to be powerful in the sense I think you mean as it is a slighlty different style compared to Alien Invasion and Hideout. This song I intended to be more gentle. Thanks for the feedback!

It's nothing to do with the style, it actually sounds less gentle to me because of the change in production! There's no warmth or life to the samples, it sounds like everyone's first attempt at fantasy orchestration as a result so it feels like you produced it earlier than the other tracks which sound much better. I'm not talking musically. Maybe it's different samples. The difference is so great it sounds like two different composers on two different setups.

That shouldnt be the case because I used the same vst :) Not sure specifically what you mean or in terms of lifeless. I disagree with some of the points you made, but appreciate feedback.

Could be reverb settings, midi expression, virtual orchestration - as I said it sounds dry and fundamentally less realistic than the others. For orchestral music the ear expects a certain wet sound because in real life you'd hear it recorded in a reverberant space, and mockups lacking that are more obvious.
