My First Orchestral Piece

Hello everybody!

I am an aspiring composer in highschool and this is my very first piece I composed. I used Notion to write it. This piece depicts a valcano; not erupting, just the volcano in general.

Most of the song is in 7/8 time with just a couple changes here and there. It uses alot of percussion which I think its the main highlight. The marching type sound near the middle is a mix of a piccolo snare and timpani. 

Incase anyone was wondering the last chord is a Gminor (b5)

Hi Daniel,
It sounds like you are creating this music more as a soundtrack. So you're creating the feeling of this force of nature but what are you saying about this beyond that. Are you visualizing this and the your music is intended as part of the experience. Maybe you're interested in doing soundtrack work or creating music with soundtrack influences.?

One thing I noticed technically was that the bell seemed a little loud, at least to me. Also work on development so that there is a rhym and reason for how your music progresses. So that it "works". It's 20% inspiration and 80% perspiration
