My latest composition, a piano miniature in G. With some chord progressions i ,,walked'' through some few other tonalities.

Hi nenopro,

I like this a lot. It has a tonal basis for sure, but seems to "rotate" quite a bit - I did not look deeper though. Interesting it finishes in A major. Should it symbolize a catwalk?

It was an inspiration from a Japanese cartoon and a real cat that lives in the neighbourhood next to mine. I like to work with different periods and genres so i do not use traditional harmony always, consciously. So maybe can be hard to analyse. Thanks for listening, Jan.

It does get across the cautious, careful nature of the feline animal it portrays. Just adventurous enough to suggest the other trait we associate with cats, curiosity. They are cautious though curious critters. I almost can imagine a cat tiptoeing across the keyboard. Looking for something to push over the edge, no doubt.
