Music Composers Unite!
March for a wind band
Here's a march I'm working on. The rendering is done with MuseScore and Audacity. The harmonies in the intro are a bit too messy. And the drum part is not right yet. Have to consult a percussionist. To help you follow it, the structure goes like:
intro, A A B A' B A'
I have some themes for a following section, it could be a trio part or something. Not sure yet.

I really enjoyed this music. Some interesting harmonies in there. You deserve to get it properly played soon as the samples don't do the piece justice. A PDF of the score would be nice to see.

Here's the complete march. There is some work to be done in the parts. And this rendering still has its faults. I can't use drum rolls, the reverb is too heavy etc.

Something that I like about the newer version is that the march rhythm becomes apparent sooner.

I guess I just turned up the tempo. It should even be yet a bit faster, but I don't want to fool myself into believing that my wind band could play it any faster. They will have problems with the changing keys.
