Hi All

I've uploaded a short piece called Air Mullach Carn Gorm (On Top of Cairn Gorm) - I'm sure many of you have been there.

Once I figure out how to upload the score I'll do so. I was wondering if anyone has any tips/opinions on how to get it to sound better. I created the score in MuseScore 2, exported the parts to audio, and mixed it in Cubase Pro. I added reverb, EQ,  and compression but to be honest I don't really know what I'm doing with the EQ - i just twiddle the knobs and hope I get something that sounds good.

Cheers, CD

Hi

Thanks, don't know what I did but it's back up - I think I managed to improve the reverb, I used Cubases's Roomverb

Hi Colin,

There is a sound set available for MS called Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra. It is recorded instruments rather than midi. Sounds much better. You have removed the piece, so it's hard to say more.
