I wish I had a better knowledge of midi and production to advise you on this. There is something that sounds slightly laboured about the way the triplets are recorded. I guess it is either because they are not all properly quantized as triplets, or you have kept the velocity of all the notes the same, instead of accenting the first note of each triplet group.
But as I said, some nice musical ideas.
