I need to know something about workstations

If I created a new timbre on the workstation's synthesizer, is it possible for me to upload that timbre onto a DAW.

If I understand you, you've got a sound/patch on a keyboard workstation that you want to use within your DAW.

1. use the keyboard as an external midi instrument.

or

2. sample each note as audio. This can take a very long time if done properly and isn't really going to be worth the bother.

Unless you meant something else.
