Music Composers Unite!

Hi all!
I am very happy to say that finally after about 2, maybe 3 years of writing, fine tuning and rerecording the music, I finished my piano album titled "Moments".

"Moments" includes 13 movements, titled:
1. After work, in the night - 2. Cat's play - 3. On a summer day - 4. At work - 5. Who's there? - 6. Goodnight - 7. For Beatrice - 8. The lost child - 9. For Mateo - 10. For Isabella - 11. A
winter tale
- 12. The snow is melting! -
13. In silence.

I played all the pieces and did the editing so it's exactly the way I want it to be, nice when you can have everything in your own hand.
The layout of the sheet music is done in Sibelius 6 and the recordings in Logic 8, and I am very happy with the results!

Please, have a look at my website where you can see and more important, hear the 13 pieces that are part of "Moments". And if possible, it would be great if you could leave a comment there, maybe still there is something that could be improved after all.

Hello Andre, Why don't you post this in Music Dissertion. It propebly belongs their more then it does here.

I've always like your music and this is no exception. They are really mature pieces of music. To me you are an inspiration in the way you construct the music.
I agree wth Gijs. There is some wonderful music here. Mature, sophisticated, and constructed with the sure hand of a master.
Hi Gijs. Thanks for the compliment and especially thanks to hear that it's an inspiration for your own music. That's a really inspiration for me again to keep on writing. I will post is as well in Music Dissertion.

Thanks, Fredrick. I hope I will be able to get them around, I would love to hear them played by other pianists to hear how they interpreted them. Right now I am trying to find a publisher for the music but it's not so easy.

I like these pieces, the mood depicted, and the usage of piano sounds and techniques. "Cat's play" is beautiful.
I have a piece about a little animal too ("Strange Little Animal", it is in my profile here). We could organize a zoo in this forum. Anyone wants to add something? I think Beethoven's 6th (with frogs in the 1st movement) will make the most significant entry!
I may not compose classical but have to say that what i just heard from you was beautiful, loved all the tracks ! what a sweet piano sound, so enjoyable! - quite a great composer you are, and a masterful player too, as Fredrick said, constructed with the sure hand of a master!
Loved them all, favorite tracks were: At Work ! - the Lost Child and For Mateo (strong one!)
Thank you for releasing such as great work André !
Hi David,
thanks for the nice words. And thanks for listening to the pieces. It's very clear to hear I assume where I come from yes, I listened and played mostly classical and romantically music during my whole study. Especially Schumann and Beethoven had big influence on me.
