How (where) do I make the announcement and link of my new cd?

Hi, question about posting about my music:

I tried to place the URL in the "My Page" area, but it says the URL is too long ....?

I read the forum rules and understand you cannot post cd announcements in the general forum area(s) ... or can you, and where?

How may I announce and show a link or a photo or other info of my new cd?

try googling "short URL" and use one of any number of services to make your URL into a short one. I think that would work from what I am thinking you are asking here...
