Guy walks into a bar

A guy walks into a bar with his dog. Sits down at the bar and tells the bartender:

My dog here, can talk. If I get him to talk to you will you comp me a martini?

 

Bartender says sure why not, but if he doesn't talk I'm throwing you both out for wasting my time.

 

Guy turns to the dog and asks "What's on top of a house?"

Dog" "Roof"

 

Guy "What does sandpaper feel like?"

Dog: "Ruff"

 

Guy" who was the greatest basball player of all time?"

Dog: "Ruth"

 

Angry bartender throws them both out.

 

As the dog and the guy land in a heap on the sidewalk out front the dog turns to the guy

and says "Do you think I should have said Joe Dimaggio?"
