Oh, my friggin' God, do I wish that I could write this way! Excellent, just superbly excellent, in every respect. You just keep right on doing what it is you do, Mr Stowell, because you've clearly got a very good grip on it. I was thoroughly entranced by this from the very first note to the last. Outstanding work, sir.
It certainly does warrant a live performance, doesn't it? I don't think I've been so impressed with a piece of music on here in a long time.

This is excellent and obviously beautifully made. Very evocative. Great use of string color/technique. Have you had a live performance of this? I think it would also work for string orchestra.
David, in other words, winos in the alley searchin' dumpsters for food ?
this is what I visualized, and it seems to fit your narrative.
this interpretation may have been influenced by the fact that
soundcloud always appears like a city skyline.
All in all an interesting piece, but honestly, I don't think I'd
listen to it more that once. It's too abstract for the average Joe. IMHO RS
Yeah, but you aren't average, Rog... Give it another listen?

That is incredible, David! I don't get out much, and don't consider myself to be the most sophisticated bloke, and actually don't care for too much modern music. I find your piece captivating, engaging, and actually easy to listen to and assimilate. It seems well contained, whatever the hell that means, and increasingly familiar as the piece moves along, which points to a strong form, I suppose, and probably a bunch of other stuff too.
Nice, David. It's a great piece, and you've got a serious gift.

Listened to it for a fourth time.
Yep, still loving it.
More than liked it, David, flat out loved it. How long did it take you to put this one together, if you don't mind my asking?

No, it has not been performed.
David, I gave this a second listen and have no doubt it is masterfully done.
You are very good at your art. It shows.
Honestly tho', I'm afraid that if I listen to it a 3rd time, the next day you will
find me dangling at the end of a rope. So if hopeless despair was your aim,
then man, you've succeeded. The antithesis of the romantic. RS (romantic sap)

Thanks David, I'm back hahaha this one had a 1930's feel to it.
I also enjoyed the acrobatic antics of tanz.tanz RS

To stop you from dangling, how about a soothing piece for string orchestra....
