Music Composers Unite!
I accepted an invitation to write a short piece using only five unique chords.
Two things about this:
1. It uses substituted dominants based on flattened supertonics and
2. Apart from a couple of passing notes all the melody notes are from the “upper structure “ harmonics and not part of the chord.

Very interesting! And quite a unique flavor compared to your usual output. :-)
Very nice Michael, kind of a jazz ballad or Satie sound. Would be neat to hear a chamber group develop that.
Intriguing to say the least. I agree with Ingo about the jazz-sounding progressions and chordal arrangement. Very cocktail bar, really.
Easy to listen to, which I did without any pondering on the technical foundation.
Cheers.
This is like a benign (and very short) version of Satie's "Vexations".
It's nice. What will the purpose / application for it be, if it was a kind of commission?
It was requested by Marshall Shaw for his video https://youtu.be/rxU9gUzuj20
