Music Composers Unite!
How does my attempt at a Hollywood film music sound?
It's a work in progress and therefore an early production sample. But as I'm new around here, I'm keen to listen to critism from more experienced people.
I'm learning and having fun, but ultimately I'd like to be able to produce something with real drama and emotion.
Thanks.

To my ears your composition sits between two chairs. It does not have that big epic sound and it does not have the opposite - a very emotional, waiting, longing etc. feeling to it.
Also the choirs in the beginning really need some more twaeking in word builder, it just sounds too artificial. I know how hard it is to make choirs sound real but if you can also camouflage some of the artificial sound by for example adding more strings with different / supporting harmonics.
I’m working on making that Hollywood sound myself, we just have to keep at it and eventually we will get there.
Have a nice day :-)
