Music Composers Unite!
This is a piece written for woodblocks, xylophone, piano and three cellos. In it, I hoped to explore different ways to re-use relatively simple figures (moving fourths, scales and stepwise motion) as a means of unifying the music. Links to the music and the score are below.
I felt that you're choice for instruments was ingenious. The title makes me think of a simple drawing or graph of an ellipse on a graphing calculator. A lot of it felt like something I would hear in a Pikmin game.
However, your use of chromatics and dissonance sorta threw me off. It might just be my preference, but I didn't feel that it fit with the rest of the song.
