nice writing, too bad you are stuck with fl studio and freeware samples or it might be convincing. But as a mockup I get what you are shooting for and its got a lot of good bits, good work

yeah this is more of an example of what it's possible to create without spending lots on expensive VST's!

Even these samples could be made to sound quite pleasing if they were mixed better with the right panning, EQ and reverb. If you are able to do submixes of the brass, strings, woodwinds and percussion, that will really help to get the mix issues sorted out.
Speaking of reverb, try downloading the demo of the ValhallaRoom reverb plugin. That alone will help sell the illusion a bit more.
