What do you thik adout this piece? You like it or not? And what do you thik about quality of performance?

The piece is nice and the performance was good as well.

The first movement seem to lack a logical design to me, it seems to not fully develop many of its ideas which I wish i heard more of. The harmonic language seemed to be a little muddy. It just didnt feel like it knew where it wanted to go and make weird harmonic changes that sounded more like mistakes than intentional.

The second movement started out very strong and ended strong. Liked the development of the themes and the harmonic language was much clearer.

Liked the romantic gestures of the third movement. Cello could have been more of a contributing member of the ensemble in this movement. With it playing mostly the harmonic foundation it feels more like a basso continuo part than a part of the quartet, and thats a shame because the cello has such a beautiful tone that could lend itself to the movements overall feel.

Fourth movement, nice surprise to major, this piece definitely needed it. The cello rhythm at the beginning doesnt seem to fit this movement. The movement seems to lack a strong theme that the other movements had.

Really like this beginning of this fifth movement, but the sudden cadential end at measure 13 ends what could develop into another very nice thing. Like the first movement, this seems to lack a real sense of logic in its form. The end of this movement just seems lack luster and I wish you came back to the beginning of the movement to end the piece, end the piece on an up feeling.

Other than that, overall, its a really good piece. The performers seems to interpret the piece very well. Good Job.

Thanks a lot, Tyler! I will use your advice in the future. I listened to your work, and it's beautiful. Very interesting music. I like this style. Thanks a lot.
