I do, however, have a few critiques to give you. In my opinion, I think that game music should be written for real musicians, so classical techniques in orchestration and so on. This is just my opinion and I didn't regard this in the over all piece.
Im not sure what the stringed instrument you use in the begining is (maybe erew; sp?), but when you use it right before the choir it sounds out of place stylistically and diatonically (tonality is, of course, not a requirement).
Lastly, I really liked your piano idea when the guy picks up the broken statue piece. You would do well to continue that a little more.
Overall, a great little piece! If some game developer sees this maybe it will get you in! lol
thanks for you feedback.
probably you're right. this trailer wasn t made for an action track.
the string in the beginning is a very distorted violine with much delay (played with experimental pitchbend).
the part before the choir should sounds strange like in a horrorfilm.
but maybe i will change a lot soon and make it a little bit more orchestral.
music:
more dramatic melodic parts for several cuepoints.
also more dramatic for the final.
sounddesign:
more life in enviroment (wind, broken doors, standing up zombie, cloth etc.)
more volume and frequenz dynamic (for example: street explosion)
mix:
changing priority of music and sound (volume and frequency).
in the beginning the sound is more dominant, in the end more music.
