Music Composers Unite!

Ok - so here's what I've ventured into - surely some of you are heading this direction as well. I recently purchased the M-Audio NRV-10 Board with the Pro-Tools M-Audio set-up. I've used Finale since it was born - so - I'm on Finale 2007. I also purchased the East/West virtual bundle - comes with the Native Instruments/Orchestra/Choirs.

I've been messing with all of it - it should be relatively easy to use - so everyone seems to think. I, however, can not get it all to work together. I can get 2 of the 3 to work together in sync - but not all three. Does anyone else have this type of set-up and what all did you have to do to get it work? Would love some insight to the technology world.

Thanks a bunch for the future help
Shane.

Have you tried calling Tech support on any of the 'parts' that are NOT working. Also more specifics and more info would be nice if anyones going to be able to offer any advice I would think.

When we had our studio set-up here at the "Nautilus" in west Hollywood we had Audio consultants/Logic consultants/networking consultants and we made tons of calls to MOTU, the MIDI overlan folks, the apple folks, etc. When you say you've been messing around with it and it's supposed to be easy to use I doubt that very much! Every set-up is different and some set-ups share similarities but anytime you mix different manufacureres and different types of softwares, drivers, audio interfaces, etc. all kinds of things can go wrong.

Sometimes a set-up issue can be solved with a simple tech support call and sometimes you have to be on every manufacturers forum asking questions for several days.
